Jason relied on his friends, family and radio for his musicial influences.  After graduating high school, he moved from his home state of Va to New York and enrolled in the American Musical and Theater Academy but ended up dropping out after a year to focus on his gutiar and songwriting skills.  After a short stay back home, he moved to California and ended up with a weekly gig at Java Joe's Coffee Shop (Which is known for its support of inspiring singer/songwriters).  His performances there landed him a recording contract with Elektra Records and the release of his debut CD, "Waiting For My Rocket to Come" and the release of his first hit "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)".  His second CD, "Mr. AZ" is in your local record stores now and features his latests singles, "WordPlay" and the impressive jewel, "Geek in the Pink".
