Robbie Patton fan since 1981

Robbie Patton got his big break in 1979 with his association with the ever popular Fleetwood Mac while
touring with the group promoting his debut album, "Do You Wanna Tonight". He released his most popular album, "Distant
Shores" 2 years later with the help of Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham. The single "Don't Give it Up" which features
Buckingham on guitar, hit the top 30 in late 1981. Robbie released his 3rd album the following year entitled "Order
from Headquarters" and the single, "Smiling Islands", a duet with Stevie Nicks. He went on to release his final album
"No Problem" in 1984. Although there was not much success with his own career, he faired better as a songwriter.
He has written for Elton John, Jonathan Cain, Santana and the Fleetwood Mac hit, "Hold Me". Currently, he is part of
the English band known as Qubis.
